"ELT-27M" -
Reeling Station
|
Type ELT-27 M Reeling Station is a machine designed to be coupled behind a peeling lathe, together with pneumatic flaps DL-27, to take charge of the process of reeling of peeled veneer, at a speed compatible with the lathe peeling capacity. The machine works under the principle of controlled friction, where an operator controls by levers the amount of speed which is transfered to the reels, which ensures coupling speed between lathe and bobbin and allows for perfectly tight reels. The full bobbins are transferred to a storage magazine, and after unreeling to a clipper, the empty bobbins are returned to reeling position via a lower deck. Transfer of bobbins from upper deck to return lower deck and from storage point up to the reeling position is effected by means of arms driven by electric motors. |
